New Nest

Last night we spent our first night in this new nest. Today we went back to the old house to get my motorcycle. Ying also took the opportunity to clean in a courteous gesture to our old landlords. It was her way of leaving the place better than we found it. It began to rain and I didn't want to ride my motorcycle in the rain. So we used the rain as an opportunity to get Thai massages nearby. It was a well needed break and nourishment for the body as well. Once the massage was done, the rain had stopped and we drove back in separate vehicles to our new place. 

The landlords had arrived at the house as we were having breakfast before we left to go to the old place. They had begun painting, cleaning, and making other adjustments to the house as necessary. We are quite moved that these wonderful landlords took the time to invest in their own land. They could have just been glad to have received new tenants and left it at that. Instead they put in their best effort and upgraded the house. 

I arrived first back from the old house and as I stood around waiting, my attention was captured by this bird hopping from branch to branch on this tree in our garden.
