Pomegranate Journey

This morning, I was able to get up early enough to have more than just a quick breakfast on the go as I often do. After my morning meditation, I put some yogurt in a bowl and added some Bakırlı cheese, olive oil, and mint. This wasn't exactly a traditional Turkish recipe but one that uses traditional ingredients to create something new. What isn't new is that anything can be added to yogurt to be eaten as a snack. One time I saw them adding tree bark and recycled paper into the yogurt lol.

I had some bread with the sacrificial Nutella. It was the perfect formula of hazelnuts,  cocoa, wheat, yeast, and sacrifice that one can hope to taste that early in the morning.

In the glass is pomegranate juice which was pomegranated in a nearby village. The village has pomegranation stations where the pomegranates line up between the Granite Palms and the Grand Pommes Pines. Often, the fruits journey from forests far and wide to get to the stations. Most pomegranates describe their experience at the stations as being life-changing, transformational, and purifying. Such practices were common among modern day pomegranates' ancestors. These days it is observed by those pomegranates who are willing to undertake such a juicy journey but it's no longer as common as it was 2500 years ago.
