The Mayor DJ 5

 It is a new day for the good people of Siriburi. 2021 is just another year with a new name and number. Most people didn't take a pause from their enjoyment of the rapidly developing town. The developments don't just reflect technological progress either. New technology probably makes up for only a small part of the progress. Most progress is being made in character development and steps taken towards dreams and goals. Siriburi is a city of dreamers. There are vast support networks in place to keep people inspired and motivated on their personal journeys. Siriburi is a place where every individual has a rich personal legend.

Let's take a look at some of the expansions that are taking place in the town. As Siriburi is a place that places human value above all else, here too shall we start with the wonderful citizens of a hearty city. 

George Parker is an unstoppable athlete on her way to Olympic Gold. This kind of determination deserves attention. George is one of our golden citizens, and a role model to all who are on their way towards their ultimate dreams. 

Maci Foster is another golden citizen who is constantly reminding everybody to remember their inner child. No matter what age, we're all responsible for cultivating a life of inner joy. "Happy for no reason" as The Mayor DJ calls it, is one of the characteristics of why Siriburians shine so bright.

The Mayor DJ has been tucked away producing dance hits for his citizens to hear. Siriburi has its own online radio network and the Premier DJ's new tracks and mixes are always played on his weekly show. The Mayor DJ is learning more and more about balancing his role as a Mayor and as a DJ. "Art is important," he explains, "but so is the quality of life, satisfaction, and the happiness of my citizens. I couldn't imagine a life without both sides to the story." 

The Mayor DJ is making progress towards his ultimate dreams as well. And he's inspiring hundreds of his citizens to do the same. Let's look at some of the ways the mayor approaches the development of the town. The following two pictures show progress in the city's expansive parks. 

2020 - This area was being developed to be both a new business hub and a centre for parks and recreation. This was the state of this new centre in 2020.

2021 - The parks have expanded and so have the businesses around it. Siriburians love having an abundance of fresh air and sunshine in town. The parks provide a natural feeling and uplift people's moods. Additionally, there are more independent activities taking place in and around the great parks now more than ever. All kinds of sports, meditation sessions, yoga meetups, and art classes take place in the parks. There are no bulidings that serve as community centres in town because the parks are the heart, soul, and centre of the community.

The Mayor DJ brings our attention to another part of town. The North-East of town was also an area dominated by parks. The luxury, but affordable, restaurant in the area has been a setting for the mayor's DJ sets. The Mayor DJ likes to shake things up and keep things fresh by using alternative forms of venues for his sets. In the following two pictures, the developments in this part of town are also shown.

2020 - Last year, this area had a lot of smaller parks.

2021 - This year, the parks have lowered in their numbers but expanded in size. The effects are extensive. Citizens now enjoy greater fresh air as the bigger parks have a lot more trees. The bodies of water in the big parks provide a habitat for a lot of wildlife, making the city ecologically diverse as well.  This part of town doesn't have many businesses so it's a popular spot for evening strolls and quiet contemplation. Most of the community activities don't take place here either as that would go against the quiet nature of the area. However, there have been Vipassana retreats in the quieter corners of the parks.
